The professional internship is not mandatory for employees working in an accounting department or an accounting firm, and for holders of certain diplomas that provide an exemption.
PILLAR 2: NATIONAL EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS
Achieve an overall average of 10/20 across all 13–14 units (UE), with no failing grade.
Note: Any mark below 6/20 requires retaking the corresponding exam, even if the overall average is achieved.
Schedule: 2 days of training and 3 days in the company
Admission Requirements
ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree / Undergraduate degree and Master’s level (Bac+4)
Prerequisites:
The Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG) at DCG Formations is open to:
- Holders of a Baccalaureate, or a qualification/diploma granting exemption from the Baccalaureate for university enrolment
- Holders of a foreign qualification or diploma allowing access to higher education in the country where it was awarded, provided they can supply a comparability certificate from CIEP ENIC-NARIC
- Holders of a qualification registered at Level I, II, III or IV in the RNCP, or Levels 4, 5, 6 or 7 of the national qualifications framework as defined in Article D.6113-19 of the French Labour Code
- Holders of a state-recognised qualification (Level I, II, III or IV) listed in the decree of 17 June 1980 (as amended) establishing the list of accredited technological education diplomas
Admission is based on application review and may include an interview.

This programme does not have any equivalence or bridging options
Students entering the first year are required to successfully complete all skills blocks
FURTHER STUDIES
This Bachelor’s degree has a professional focus and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the option to enrol in the first year of a Master’s programme.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
- Registrations for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
- Registrations for the January 2027 delayed intake continue until 18 December.
Procedures
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
By the employer,
By the employee with their own agreement,
By a student or their legal guardian
Work-study programmes are available from the 3rd year onwards.
Once the registration form is completed, our school undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires prerequisites, we will then offer, regardless of the chosen funding method, a knowledge test and/or a positioning interview (by phone or videoconference) and/or an application review.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG) at DCG Formations is a State-recognised Level 6 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- Learn how to handle complex transactions (mergers, consolidations, inventory)
- Analyse profitability, manage cash flow, and evaluate investment decisions
- Master performance management tools (budgets, cost calculations)
- Understand the legal lifecycle of a company (creation, dissolution, general meetings)
- Know how to draft employment contracts, manage payroll, and calculate taxes (VAT, corporate tax, income tax) while ensuring compliance
- Stay continuously updated with frequent changes in financial legislation
- Learn how to write analytical reports and present arguments in oral presentations
- Use management software and understand information systems challenges (Unit 8)
- Be able to communicate in an international accounting context

PROGRAMME DURATION AND PACE
DURATION OF STUDIES:
3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate (BAC) or an equivalent qualification
Work-study programme available from the third year onwards.

- Apprenticeship contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
